     • Machico: Get to know the history of Machico, the first capital of Madeira, and soak up the charming atmosphere.
     • Pico do Areeiro: Visit this high mountainous region of Madeira by car, and if you feel apt for it, challenge yourself with a thrilling hike along Pico do Areeiro.
     • Ponta de São Lourenço: Embark on a scenic adventure at Ponta de São Lourenço, a dramatic peninsula with lunar-like landscapes and volcanic wonders.
4. Day 4 <b>Sunset Boat Tour (Included)</b>

     • Start your day immersed in the exotic beauty of the Monte Palace Tropical Garden. Lose yourself amidst its lush greenery, unique cultural exhibits, and perhaps even a graceful swan or two.
     • Then, go on an exhilarating Monte Toboggan ride, a one-of-a-kind adventure where wicker baskets whisk you down the streets.
     • Continue your botanical journey at the Funchal Botanical Garden in the city center. Marvel at the diverse plant life while enjoying breathtaking coastal vistas.
     • Throughout the day, savor the tranquility of these gardens. Capture vibrant floral colors, fragrant scents, and the unique essence of Madeira's natural wonders.
6. Day 6 Free Day for Personal Activities

   Suggestion for the day:

   • Take the Day for a Hiking Adventure: With its many gorgeous mountains and waterfalls, it’s no surprise that Madeira has long been referred to as a “hiker’s paradise”. Many of these trails follow the old irrigation canals called “levadas” that were used to bring water from the north side of the island to the south. Although still used today, many of these canals are also widely used for walking. No matter your preference or experience level, there are many different types of trails all over Madeira. Beginners or those looking for a more leisurely nature walk should stick to the south side of the island, while those looking for a more exhilarating trekking experience should head north to the mountainous side of the island. Madeira boasts well-maintained and signaled trails, but for a guided experience, please explore our suggestions below.
